On Saturday a few of us met at the Church and cleared up some of the fence line. We cleared about 1/3 of the fence line before we had to leave – the rest of the crew staying longer just about finished that side.
It was a great opportunity and wonderful to see the youth really pitch in and help with the project! Some of the boys had just finished with a campout – they came straight to the service project ready to work… what a great help! I know they would have liked to have done that 10 mile hike though!
There were a lot of brambles that slowed the work down – but they were no match for sister Abbott!
